We are Essential
Veterinary Medicine has been deemed an “essential business” and that is allowing us to continue to see your pets. We are open and continuing to help our patients by providing medical care, prescription medication, prescription food, and supplements.
What We’re Doing to Protect You
We are not allowing clients into the building, so our door will be locked during business hours. Fear not – we will be inside furiously working! We are providing our staff with protective gear such as masks and gloves. We also have ramped-up our cleaning of doorknobs and all surfaces. We are also requiring the staff to wash their hands after entering the building from being outside. We hope that our precautions will give us the ability to serve you throughout this time.
Curbside Check-In For Appointments
We are requesting that all our clients stay in their vehicles and call to inform us that they have arrived for their scheduled appointment. Our staff will check you in over the phone and take the best phone number for the Doctor to reach you. The Doctor will call you on this phone number once the physical examination has begun. When we are ready for your pet, we will request that you bring your pet to the door, so that one of our staff can bring them into our building. After receiving approval for treatments, our team will get to work on your pet. We ask that you wait in your vehicle in our parking lot during this time (unless told otherwise). Someone from our team will call to take phone payment at the time your pet has completed their visit. Our staff will then ask you to approach the door to retrieve your pet from one of our team.
Curbside Pick-Up for Meds, Food, and Supplements
We are requesting that all of our clients stay in their vehicles and call to inform us that they have arrived to pick up their pet’s prescription, food, or supplement. Our staff will take a phone payment and then bring the items to you.
Boarding/Grooming are Temporarily Closed
Our Boarding and Grooming departments will most likely remain closed throughout the Stay-At-Home Order. Those parts of our business have not been deemed essential, yet. Until we are notified otherwise, we will not be taking appointments for either of these services. We recommend that you follow us on Facebook, since that is the first place we will update when we begin making appointments.
Cancelling Elective Procedures
Due to the shortage of medical supplies, we have made the decision to reschedule all elective procedures; Meaning that Spay, Neuters, TPLO’s, and many other surgeries must be rescheduled to a later date.
What We Have Done for You
We understand your fears of leaving home, especially if you are at a higher risk. So, we are happy to be able to offer an additional service. In the face of this pandemic, we’ve decided to offer a limited amount of virtual appointments. If your pet has been seen within the last 12 months for an exam (by any of our DVM's), then we may be able to schedule a Tele-visit with Dr.Tran. As stated, the quantity of appointments we currently have available are limited, and the only Doctor available at this time will be Dr.Tran. Please call our office to get more information or if you are interested in scheduling. Please be understanding that a Tele-visit cannot replace the wealth of information that is acquired during a physical examination and that additional diagnostics may be required.
Thank You for Bearing with Us!
We would like to thank all our clients for being patient and understanding during this difficult time. In order to continue adapting to the ever-changing world that this virus has brought upon us, we have had to make many changes to how we do business. We know that reducing hours and eliminating services has been inconvenient. These decisions were made with a heavy heart and after much discussion.
